Moe Tournament Résumé

‘Mafuyu wants to win this competition. Therefore Mafuyu will activate the trap card “Moe of Pure Snowflake” and gain +3 to the vote capturing skill. Mafuyu finds it most unfortunate that other competitors did not read the saimoe walkthrough she so carefully wrote.’

The first impression Mafuyu makes is that of a delicate princess. This description is not entirely mistaken – she is distinguished by beauty, pure childlike eyes and impeccable manners. She appears to have received sheltered upbringing and tends to shrink away when in contact with strangers, particularly those of the opposite gender. However, it is easy to see that is not everything there is to Shiina Mafuyu.

Firstly, the thoughts racing around in the girl’s mind are of an entirely unexpected variety. Immersed deeply in the world of contemporary entertainment, Mafuyu has tasted it all: from games targeted at children to the most risqué of boys love comics. Make no mistake, though, Mafuyu is not one of those lazy otaku content with passive leisure activities. To the contrary, this maiden is out to make a difference. Saving even one person with her walkthroughs makes the hours spent writing them worthwhile. Free time is time she can spend writing her own boys love novel. A volcano of imagination, Mafuyu easily finds meaningful ways of contributing to the society.

Another facet of her personality hidden by her innocence is the deep reserve of strength she holds. With her discriminating personality, Mafuyu can easily tell apart the right from the wrong. She will defend those maligned to the full extent of her ability, regardless of how difficult she finds it to speak up and confront her fears. Her unique hobbies have in no way affected Mafuyu’s power to truly love.

If you want to chat with Mafuyu, please approach her gently. And do not be surprised when she turns out to be more than you expected her to be.
